Berry to update equipment and expand product lines

The company will receive a $71,850 Economic Development Income Tax (EDIT) grant from the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) of Wayne County.

The grant will help purchase and install new equipment and assist with the training of staff.

The Indiana-based firm will invest $4.4.m in the project and create 10 jobs.

Berry Plastics Corporation produce openand closed top packaging, polyethylene-based plastic films, flexible packaging and heat-shrinkable coatings and has 80 facilities worldwide.
